My Anxiety Gone theory is that if you take time to do things you love, or used to love, you will find mindfulness. I’ve tested it myself and discovered that it’s one of the best treatment for anxiety I’ve ever come across.

When you take time to do things you like, you’re giving your mind a rest from all the negative, anxious thoughts that keep you wrapped up in this vicious cycle. The hardest part is actually prioritizing three hours to yourself every single day – and more if you can or feel like it’s needed.

As an anxiety sufferer, you get exhausted after a day of worrying and terrible thoughts. The last thing you want to do when you get home for the day is walk or read, or do anything than lay in bed and try to relax. But as I always tell people, prioritize your health. The only way you’re ever going to overcome anxiety naturally is if you make time to heal. It isn’t going to come on its own. You need to dedicate time, effort, and passion towards getting better. Again, it’s often choosing to do that, that is the most challenging.
